14 May 2026: The latest edition of the Connect newsletter is now available.

There are a number of updates this month including:

1. The campaigning Parents’ Charter and calls for improvements to Scottish education.
2. The latest Connect parent/carer survey on your family’s childcare needs Activities, Clubs and Childcare (Before/After School and School Holidays).
3. Online Safety For Families with Police Scotland.  
4. The recording of the latest Talking Points for Parents session with the team from My Rights, My Say on Children’s Rights and ASN – What families need to know – now available.

23 April 2026: The latest newsletter from Connect – the body supporting parent councils – is now available, including Connect’s report on its Parent/Carer PVG Scheme, support for the 2026 Qualifications Scotland qualifications and the Scottish Government’s School Attendance guidance.

13 February 2026: Connect – the network supporting partnerships in education across Scotland – has just shared their latest newsletter.

This February edition has a wide range of news and updates, including details of their 2024/25 Annual Report, Climate Change Plan Consultation, and information about the Scottish Assembly of Parents and Carers.
